ABOUT THIS ITEM:
Vintage printed premium photo picturing Jeanette MacDonald dates to approximately 1938. Attractive color-toned image inside a fancy border with a white border surrounding this ornate "frame" (frame is part of the picture).

Item measures 7-7/8" X 9-7/8 from edge to edge.

This item was part of what was likely a book of salesman's samples offering various stars on different photos (this sale if for the single picture named in the title and shown above).

It is stamped on back "7349," which could be anything from product number to salesman number, and then includes mention of three different sizes available. Otherwise blank back. There are two sets of staple marks inside the top border near the top edge--these could easily be covered by matting if you were considering framing this image (top border is wider than other borders).

There is no mention anywhere of who issued the item, so that remains a mystery.

GRADING - CONDITION:
Two sets of staple holes inside top border near top edge; light diagonal bend near top right corner (not a true crease though); Scans show both sides of actual item being offered for sale.
