Shop by the Stars aisle featuring Joan Crawford (1904-1977) vintage movie cards, still photos, ephemera, and other collectibles. Screen legend born Lucille LeSueur in San Antonio, Texas came to MGM in 1925. Won Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in Mildred Pierce (1945), and was later nominated twice more for her work in Possessed (1947) and Sudden Fear (1952). Other notable titles enhanced by Crawford's greatness include The Unknown (1927) with Lon Chaney, Our Dancing Daughters (1928), Rain (1932), Sadie McKee (1934), The Women (1939), Humoresque (1946), Johnny Guitar (1954), and, of course, Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? (1962), where she shared the screen with fellow legend Bette Davis. Special mention for her performance in Grand Hotel (1932), where I know I'm not the only one to think she stole the film from the rest of its all-star cast, notably Garbo.
