Shop by the Stars aisle featuring Frances Langford (1913-2005) vintage movie cards, still photos, ephemera, and other collectibles. Lakeland, FL born singer claimed her fame on radio in the early 1930s before making her feature film debut in Every Night at Eight (1935). Frances Langford went on to appear (and sing!) in classic films including Broadway Melody of 1936 (1935), Born to Dance (1936), and as herself in The Glenn Miller Story (1954). I'm most familiar with her appearance as Nora Bayes singing "Over There" in Yankee Doodle Dandy (1942).
